Advice and information
The support we offer is shaped by the needs of the individual and we endeavour to match those accessing our service with a counsellor with the appropriate expertise. We have a team of around 20 trained volunteer counsellors, supported by experienced supervisors.
Sessions take place once a week at our offices in Canbury Park Road, close to Kingston town centre, train and bus stations. Each session lasts for 50 minutes and can be arranged during the day or in the evening, according to your availability.
There is a £30 charge for your initial consultation. If you can provide proof of benefits we charge just £5.
Have you already used our service? Please let us know how we did by filling in our evaluation form.
We run a Support Group at our offices for those on our waiting list. The group is facilitated by experienced counsellors.
The main goal of a bereavement support group is to help break the isolation that grief can impose on all of us. Participants have a chance to meet other people who are experiencing a significant loss and to share what works and what does not work for them. Different topics will be discussed according to need.
Please contact us to discuss any support or information that you may need. Visit our resources page for more useful information, books, websites and other organisations that can also help.
