SUPPORT OUR WORK
We have over 30 successful years of helping people in Kingston, making a real difference to people’s lives. Although we receive some statutory funding from the Royal Borough of Kingston, the NHS and other grants from Trusts and Foundations, we also rely on donations and our own fundraising to support our services.
Whether you take part in an event, complete a sponsored challenge or make a donation, every pound raised has a profound effect on the people we help. All contributions, whatever their size, are very much appreciated.
Leave a gift in your will
After you've taken care of the people closest to you, a small percentage of any remaining funds could make a huge difference to our work. Legacy donations provide vital funding to help us continue providing our services well into the future.
All legacies to charities are tax free. If you make a gift to us in your will, the value will be deducted from your estate before inheritance tax is calculated, which means you can support our work and reduce any potential tax liability at the same time.
We recommend that you consult a solicitor or professional adviser for specialist advice according to your own individual circumstances.
Volunteer
Volunteers play a crucial role in our work as counsellors, clinical supervisors, fundraisers, trustees or helping us in the office. There are over 30 volunteers working with us at any one time and we are extremely grateful for their commitment.
We offer our volunteers opportunities for continual professional development through our programme of in-house training days, as well as regular supervision and involvement in new developments. Please contact us if you are interested in finding out more about current volunteer opportunities.
Fundraise for us
Whether it’s a cycling challenge,
running a marathon, karaoke night
or pub quiz, there are lots of
ways to fundraise for us.
For sponsored activity you can
create an online fundraising page
to ask for support, keep track of
donations and share your
progress via social media.
Business support
However big or small your
organisation, supporting a charity
is a great way to engage your staff
and encourage team fundraising
activities and events.
Companies themselves
can claim tax relief on
donations they make
to charity.
THANK YOU TO OUR FUNDERS
